Metraker helps you track movies, TV, anime, and games. This policy explains the information the app handles and the choices you have.

Project status

Metraker is a non-commercial passion project. Optional Ko-fi donations may be used to help cover hosting and development costs.

Information you provide

• Account information, such as username, email address, and password.
• Media list information, such as titles, scores, status, dates, platforms, difficulty, completion type, and playtime.
• Search and import choices used to add titles to your list.

Information stored on your device

Metraker uses browser storage to remember your active category, guest lists, cached media data, and your signed-in session. If you use a shared device, sign out when you are finished.

How information is used

• To create and manage your account.
• To save, edit, and display your media lists.
• To search external media catalogs and import title metadata.
• To keep the app working, debug errors, and prevent abuse.

Third-party media data

Metraker may show metadata and images from third-party media databases. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. Provider-specific attribution and contact details should be finalized before public launch.

Data deletion and access

You can export your account data or delete your account from the Account page. For privacy requests, contact [email protected].

Children

Metraker is not intended for children under 13. Do not create an account if you are under 13.

Security

Metraker uses HTTPS for its production API and account requests are sent with authenticated tokens. No internet service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so avoid reusing passwords from other services.

This policy may be updated as the app changes. The updated date above shows when this page was last changed.
